Free Rafting Trips for Military and their Families with RiverRun Rafting on the Ottawa River Was a Huge Success!

In celebration to the return of Canada's troops from overseas and to show their continuing support, RiverRun Rafting offered free raft trips and use of their resort facilities to all military personnel and their families on Sunday, June 28, 2009.

CFB Petawawa Base Commander Colonel Bill Moore joined more that 230 military and their family members for a free day of rafting with RiverRun on June 28th, 2009. RiverRun Rafting's owner Margaret Maloney along with 65 RiverRun staff, who donated their time in heartfelt pride of our troops who work to serve and protect us.
